Question #3

For those of us who don't have family in the area, 'getting away' for even a night may not be a reality, and babysitting is expensive for dates. Does anyone have any great ideas on working around this?

Find some friends with the same situation and trade babysitting weekends. Or if you have some close friends, they may not mind watching the kids knowing the situation and one night is not too much too ask for, you marriage is important.

I've traded babysitting with a friend. My hubby and I will go out on Friday night while she watches my kids and then they go out on Saturday while we watch theirs. We've talked about doing an overnighter, just haven't done it yet.
