Question #4

If you work with your spouse, too, how do you keep your marriage alive? It's all about the work! How do you keep the balance?

Try to leave all business talk at work, and if that doesn't work then try setting a time ex: no business talk after 8:00 p.m. or no business talk on Wed. and Sun. That way you have time set aside for just the 2 of you that doesn't revolve around work.

Make it as easy as possible on yourself. If you can afford a house cleaner, do it. Try to make easy dinners. This time of year is great for crock pot dinners, which could be ready for you when you get home. Also try changing it up a bit. Change your clothes and hair so you don't look like the same person at home as you do at work. This may seem like just one more thing to do, but it may be worth it if it can help you both transition from work to home.
